Don't know if this belongs in the GARM or not, so I'm putting it in the Dish

Well I made a comment to BBALLBREAKDOWN's youtube channel, which is a really good channel that posts videos of very well done and detailed breakdowns of games in the NBA.

My comment was basically requesting some Rockets game breakdowns in the 90's. Well to my surprise, coach Nick, the guy that makes the videos, replied back saying something like

"No, The Rockets Offence in the 90's took set offence back 50 years, because all they did was dump the ball to Hakeem in the post and pretty much nothing else."

Well, I started following Rockets in the 1999, so I never had the chance to watch any of their games during the Hakeem Era. I am just wondering if some of the older posters thought about the comment made by coach Nick, was there really no set offence back in the glory days?

btw this is no way a jab at bballbreakdown channel because i love its videos and you should all subscribe

People like to call it the DIT
but it was more than that.
AGAIN. This is paying attention to one end of the court
Unless I am mistaken . .the Defense the rockets played was Hell!
Some of the best in the League.

The rockets also Reigned Threes. 1st team to really take advantage of the 3

    Took offense back 50 years?

Which is why the offense the Orlando Magic just pounded the Rockets with follows a similar approach?

Which is why "stretch power forwards" is now a big part of offenses? Even Don Nelson can appreciate that.

you really don't understand the hate for the city of Houston and the Rockets.
    it was more like disrespect.

they mainly hated that the Knicks didn't win the title and the press is mainly on the east coast.

Sports Illustrated originally didn't make a championship edition magazine for the Rockets, but they did for the Knicks if they won.

It took the entire city of Houston canceling SI, for them to say actually print something. the thing now is the newer Rockets fans seemed they entitled to some respect, they'd cry like a baby when Barkley says anything.

sorry, this when the disrespect was real. disrespecting the entire city and the champions.
