I don't know. I am personally just hoping for a season of above average health and less injuries. The depth of the bench (although young) is what I am most pumped about. Sheppard Whitmore Amen Eason Adams is one hell of a bench. If you can get Eason, Whitmore, and Sheppard hitting 3's they should dominate.
I was trying to put 52 wins but the page wasn't finished jumping around. So I need to change my vote whenever I get the chance. 52-30
This is hard. The West is just so good. ~45 wins and a play-in spot would still be a really successful season. The other teams that didn’t make the play-in will all be somewhat or a lot better unless the Jazz and/or another team go into tank mode. The only team that right now looks poised for a big drop off is the Clippers. Denver is a little worse. Everyone else should be similar or better absent injuries or something like Bron’s play finally falling off a cliff.
~50 mark seems attainable. If Sengun and Jalen make huge leaps in year 4 then we will most likely push past that threshold and beyond.
Voted 42-43 and that's the lowest vote so far. Improvement for a team/org is almost never purely linear. I could see a world where we have to fight just to match last season.
With perfect health, this team could win 50-55 games, so I assume a bit of injury bad luck and chose 48-49. "Internal Growth" for the win. Growth from the Magnificent 7 adds 8-10 wins.
6 non-rookie core players plus Reed Sheppard and Steven Adams added. Players in their teens or early 20’s improve more than anyone. That doesn’t mean they all improve, but if you’ve got 6 good ones, then at least 3-4 of those will take good steps in their careers. Usually teams have one to a few young guys in the core so they won’t have this volume of internal improvement. The collective effect of having this many young players in our rotation undergoing intensive internal improvement is going to generate a very unusual bump in wins. I think we’re going to flirt with 50. I don’t think it’s going to go linear, but I think it’s going to go non-linear in a positive direction. The team is so good and we’re about to have our first stable intensive development summer in forever. There are signs this season is going to exceed our expectations. The bench and the defense are so good. There’s great hope for the offense. I think we’re about to have a major breakthrough.
With expected growth across the board, additions of Reed and Adams, plus the core having more time to gel and get comfortable as a team under Ime, no problem. Thought 42 last yr. Other than injuries they'd beat that. Yeah 50+ and a ticket to the post season.
@YOLO Just dm'd me and said this team is a 20 win trash team unless we get Morey and Harden back. He's willing to make a bet
50+ barring any catastrophes. Ime isn’t waiting around to compete and I don’t think our boys are either. GO
