The First 18 games of the season are the easiest stretch of games for the Rockets on the 2024/25 schedule. I am looking at a 13-5/14-4 start for the Rockets - if they are truly a playoff team (My expectation!) This is a great schedule for an Ime Udoka coached team to start the season - find our identity offensively and come out strong defensively. Only 3 games that you automatically expect to lose - OKC, Mavs, and Bucks on the road. The "Jaters" (Some would think I am) will be quiet as this schedule is set up well for the Rockets to settle in offensively with only the Knicks, OKC, Dallas, Memphis, and the Bucks as top 5-10 defenses. I wouldn't be surprised to see both Jalen and Alpi sitting at 25 PPG after this stretch.
