Ok...this is a shot in the dark...

Around 1989 there was a show that came on late-night cable access in Houston. The show was centered around a hippie-burn-out guy named Dale Headrush. The premise was that he was a good friend of Jimmy Page (and Zeppelin). Somewhere along the way Dale found out Page went "straight" and that led to his further abuse of alcohol and drugs to deal with the "pain" of losing Jimmy to the square life.
Anyway, the guy who played Dale was hilarious. He was a Chong-type character with an obviously fake wig/beard. The show appeared to have been "produced" by early college-aged folks with no money and a lot of acid. It was hysterical.
Over the years I've searched at various times for "Dale Headrush," "Dale" and "Headrush," and other things to no avail.
Did anyone else ever see this stuff? Were college-buddies and I just so high on acid ourselves at the time that we collectively hallucinated the entire thing?
    I'm beginning to wonder...
