All, Here's our latest from Rockets-land: http://blogs.houstonpress.com/ballz/2008/03/rocketskings_the_art_of_adelma.php As always, your comments and critiques are welcome and immsensely appreciated. Thank you so much for reading. JCF
Yeah, Adelman looks really relax even during a very stressful time. He looks so calm when we were losing early in the season. I believed JVG got pissed off once and walked off when ask about a certain play during post-game interview.
Rafer appreciates the freedom he has had. Tmac endorses the coach giving young players opportunities to learn from their mistakes. Battier appreciates his coach being able to adapt to different players/situations. Good stuff!! These are some of the areas that needed to be addressed from last couple of years. Glad to see that the Rockets have finally begun to notice that getting Adelman over the summer was a great move! Had they bought into his philosophy at the start of the season, they would have been comfortably sitting in first place in the Western Conference.
After The Streak there was the expected letdown. I, for one, would like to see the 'tension' ratchet up to a play-off crescendo (as they do 'just enough' to win, of course).
