This is a great article because it focuses on, in my opinion anyways, the most important aspect of this streak.....the confidence and unity this team exudes. If nothing else, this streak has given this team, it's front office, and it's fans VALIDATION. The numbers mean nothing ultimately. Like Battier said, when they're old and gray, they can take a look back at the numbers and reflect on what they've done.....but right now, it's not about numbers at all. It's about winning, and getting closer to that ultimate goal.

I dunno if we'll be able to survive a good OFF team shooting that bad in the 1st half. Granted our DEF can help keep it close, but it's still a concern of mine.

 

I doubt we'll shoot THAT badly to start most games. The Rockets couldn't hit anything for the first 8 or 9 minutes.

 

I liked the tenor of your latest, Fritzer. It was a refreshing take on 'the streak'. I am inclined to believe that the reaction to the one which breaks the streak (one does assume the streak will not continue thru June, does one?) will be meaningful and significant.

Yeah, when our offense is off, our defense can at the very least keep us close (or in the case of a bad team such as the Nets, our defense can still keep our opponents an arm's length behind us, heh)... and this season (unlike last season or the first half of this season), our offense will show up sooner or later anyways. I mean we finished the game shooting 46%, which is not half damn bad considering how we started.
