Need a little help from the Houston folks. I live in San Antonio and got a statement that starts like this: "This statement is not from the utility company rather is furnished by Houston Planned Energy Sys. (HPSE) for the following apartment/condominium....blab, blab, blab..." At the bottom left is a code discription: (the code is cut off but the discription is there) Electric Gas Base Amount Demand Amount/ Diversity Factor Rent Past Due Amount Water/Sewer/Garb My code is 15 and I'm being charged $10.15. Just underneath the code says: Bedroom Allocation. I pay utilities, not water. Never been charged for water in the 2.5 years I've been here. This is my only guess. Anybody out there no who or what the HPES is? Thanks. RR
it's a scam?? I checked the Texas State Attorney Generals Consumer Alert webpage and there's nothing about HPES. I also did a few searches online with no luck.
Thanks rockHEAD, That was my first action too, did a quick search and found nothing about them on the web. When the office opens this morning I'll take it to them. RR
