    2:30PM CST Kickoff

Coogs are 2 touchdown dogs.. no starting QB has been named yet.. my hunch is that multiple QBs take the field...

Operation conference title defense begins now.

I feel a loss. They haven't been good on season opening road games.

i feel a loss too. but i mainly want to see how our defense and running game do as an indicator of future success.

the qb thing is going to be a bumpy ride all season i'd bet

i'm just shocked that no high profile QB came calling after Kolb's junior year..

IMO Joseph and Keenum's strengths are all completely offset by their obvious weaknesses.. how did we not end up recruiting a well rounded QB to take over after Kolb? Makes no sense that some 17 year old wouldn't look at what Kolb did, and what Briles has done before and say to himself, "hey, I bet if I went there I'd kick some serious ass."

I hope they prove me wrong and completely tear it up, but I can't see us effectively using just one QB this year.

Eugene is a really tough place to play. Anyone making the trip will have a blast there though. Duck fans are great.

We're supposed to be using multiple QBs as well this year, with redshirt freshman Trevor Vittatoe and senior QB/WR/everything Lorne Sam splitting time. Honestly, though, I think Vittatoe will be getting the vast majority of the snaps with Sam getting under center every once in a while. Coach Price is supposed to be REALLY high on TV right now...and the scary thing is that there's a true freshman QB on the roster that was making Coach Price absolutely drool. We're gonna be stacked there for the next few years. No wonder Brandis Dew moved to the d-line.

Of course, if our D can't stop anyone then it could be another long season.

Errr.....no it doesn't unless I missed some late night switch where the Ducks left the Pac 10. With that said, it certainly would be a great win for UH if they could pull it off. But it has no bearing on their conference record.

Why do people bother posting nit-picky crap like this? Do you honestly think I don't know its not a conference game?

Non-Conf record still matters, and the season has begun, now if you don't mind, I'm gonna go get stupid drunk.

I gotta believe we keep this within 10 no matter who is under center. Aldridge should be able to run against anyone.

Our secondary might have trouble with the Oregon passing game though.

Alridge fumble lost at the HOU 10. This is going to get ugly.

Come on, Coogs. At least keep this close! It hasn't been a great Week 1 for CUSA so far...

    Alridge looks way too skittish.

Tuck the ball away.. you're going to get hit as a feature back..

Just as I had feared, Joseph is one dimensional and Keenum can't stretch the field.

Art is going to have to be a true genius to get this turd of an offense to move the ball this year.

    TD Coogs! 17-14, Ducks.

Holy crap, Alridge already has 137 yards and it's still six minutes to halftime!

Keenum may not leave this game.

    Alridge has found his groove.

Its all about field position now.
