I don't know if this belongs here http://www.khou.com/news/Is-Houston-the-next-terror-target-95147544.html
Sounds more like a Houston Area Congressmen (R) looking to scare up the public and scrounge up fed money for protection purposes. The good ole' use terrorism to push your agendas tactic.
what a laughably vague prediction. I EXPECT a POSSIBLE strike from now till tomorrow or inifinity. Prove to me that I am wrong to expect this possibility.
"citing 'information' from a recent intelligence briefing." awesome. First off, that Houston could be an attractive target to those causing mayhem in our country is nothing new, especially since 9/11. Second, how is this guy's opinion based on.... "information"... validated at all? If it is, we're not told in what way. Count me in the "what is it they're trying to accomplish with this kind of 'news?' group of people.
ding ding ding We have a winner. McCaul's district goes from Cypress, up the 290 corridor to east Austin. Perfect way to drum up more support from the mostly rural district even though he has a fairly easy path to reelection.
I thought you were referring to the agenda of getting federal money to help beef up anti-terrorism measures in Houston instead of federal money to help beef up anti-immigration measures on the border. I suppose it is a double-benefit for a Republican politician anyway.
