It was the battle of Texas in the opening game of day five of the Rocky Mountain Revue. Houston took on the San Antonio as the Spurs played only their second game of the Revue.

The Spurs jumped out to a quick 10-4 lead and led 23-14 at the end of the first quarter. Stephen Jackson led the Spurs in the first half with nine points and seven rebounds. The Spurs led by as many as 22 before handing the Rockets the 91-78 loss.

Stephen Jackson led the Spurs with 20 points and eight rebounds and Amal, McCaskill and Ademola Okulaja both added 16. Terrence Morris led Houston with 19 points while Eddie Griffin added 13 points.

The Spurs will take on the Denver Nuggets on Thursday, July 26 at 4:30 p.m. while the Rockets take on the Jazz in a nationally televised game on Thursday, July 26 at 8:00 p.m. on ESPN2.

I'd like to see Griffin have a big game in one of these summer matchups...

Here's hoping it happens tonight so we can see it! [IMG]

    Fredterp,

The boxscore will be at www.proexposure.com, but it isn't up just yet. They have just added the Cleveland Chicago game within the last 3 minutes.
