hey because of the impending subway series that i hope does not happen, i started thinking about cities with two teams..ny, chicago, los angelos...whos the next biggest city in line? houston. and recently there is all this talk about the hornets moving to new orleans after this season. i say we dredge up some support, and get an owner to buy the hornets and move them here. they could both share the new arena. both of them would change their uniforms of course. then we could have two basketball teams, one in the eastern conference and one in the western conference. then we could have a sam houston toll way series, or we could call it something like that when they both make the finals. i know its crazy, you know kind of like catching a bunch of kids falling off a crazy cliff, but i think it would be kind of interesting. ------------------ when will it start to almost break you?

The Sam Houston Tollway Series? hahahahah that's rich.... like a previous poster mentioned, we're already having a hard enough time keeping the team we already have! and I thought I was the only one who had "pipe" dreams... rockHEAD ------------------ *** THIS SPACE FOR LEASE ***
It is more likely that the new arena (if it happens) will fill its extra dates with a NHL team. The new arena could not support both a NHL team and two NBA teams, not enough days in the week. ------------------
