Went out after the UFC fight last night and over heard the guy checking IDs at the door say they are not allowing in anyone wearing Texans, Rockets, or Astros caps. So when he was checking my ID I asked what was that was all about. He said that a local gang made some minor changes to the Texans logo and adopted it as one of their gang logos and that they don't want gangs being represented in their club. To avoid any confusion they are banning them all. Leave it to a group of clowns to make it so that you can not show support for your local teams.
The only solution is to make all professional teams have pokemon-style logos and colors. Cuddly, not tough.
Could have been a bar. Bars are more causal. He did say he went out after a ufc event. Don't really see to many people dress with slacks n dress shirts to watch ufc.
That still might not work. I remember reading awhile ago that Latin America death squad back in the 80's used the Smurfs as their logo.
Don't need to dress up for an MMA event, but sports team gear shouldn't really be worn outside of that team's sporting event.
except soccer jerseys! i've given up all hope on gangs being minimized in houston. i hate that they intimidate hard working people in neighborhoods and wished those civilians would accidentally empty clips on gangs. Just so they can feel what it's like. I think then authorities would step up not because of the gangs but vigilantes.
