Now before you vote, try to take a deep breath and figure out which pro sports team in this town is #1 to you. Factor in everthing from game experience, which sport you like the best, how wins and loses make you feel etc. etc. Just trying to see the pulse now and after the Astros and Texans season's are done we can revisit this poll and see if anything has changed. I hope it does not in that short of time because if the Rockets are ! now they should be in a year same goes for the Astros and Texans. Not gonna put UT, aggy, UH or the comets or aeros on this thing so please just vote on Texans/Rockets/Astros/Dynamo

The Oilers no longer exist so that choice makes no sense. It's like clinging on to a girl that dumped you. Rockets Astros Texans (even though I am more excited about the Texans right now)
Almost impossible to rate my top 3. My current state of mind: 1. Texans 2. Astros 3. Rockets I'm still exhausted from a long season and crappy exit from the playoffs. I put so much into this season only to see it end like that where I can't put them higher than that. It's the first time in a long time where I'm not ready for the next season to start.
I'd love for this to be a real three-team race, but in terms of history/longevity I'd have to go with: 1) Rockets 2) Astros 3) Texans I'm hoping it'll soon be tie-1) Rockets tie-1) Astros tie-1) Texans
the title says Houston Fans so not YOF's or basketball only fans. I think this will be pretty close to what the Houston fans on this board think. IMO if the whole metro area was polled it would be the Texans. Either way we should love and support all the teams by at the very least watching all the games on tv if we don't want to give a certain owner(s) our money. If a choice has to be made and you can't decide than just pick your favorite sport because if that team wins than it will be sweeter
VERY tough because the Rockets are my favorite team, but football is my favorite sport. As of today: 1. Texans (Ding dong, Carr is gone!) 2. Astros 3. Rockets (still super pissed about blowing a 2-0 lead for the 2nd time in 3 years and our overall SOFT mentality) 30 year average: 1. Rockets 2. Texans/Oilers 3. Astros
When I was a kid I was all baseball all the time. It took me a while to get into other sports. So I've liked the Astros longer than I've liked the Rockets so I gave them the edge. I blindly support the Texans just like the Rox and Stros but it's hard to put such a young franchise in front of teams that have been around your whole life. I don't watch soccer. So no love for the Houston 1836 . . . errr . . . Dynamo. As a kid I loved the Houston Oilers theme song. I have a picture of my dad and me in matching Oilers unis with our ages as the numbers. His was 40, mine was 1.5. I only actually made it one game though.
