I attend games. But I must admit I didn't last year. I just couldn't stomach Dana any longer. However, you are right fans have to do their part.

My argument was Tillman knew Dana's history but I guess the thought of hiring a Power 5 coach, clouded his judgment

Seriously though, the revenue sharing thing just basically ended our hopes of ever competing at the top tier of college football forevermore. And that's OK. I just want to beat whoever we play.

Idk it seemed like a good hire at the time. We at least knew he had history recruiting the area. Giving him that extension was bad though.

Yeah. The hire was totally justifiable. The extension absolutely wasn't.

When Dana was hired I thought we would be a offensive force again I had no clue we would be such a shitshow on offense with him as head coach.

I'll definitely be sleep well before halftime of that Arizona game.

Your statement reminds me I'm really gonna miss Pac 12 football. I've enjoyed Pac 12 After Dark the last 20+ years. Some really great, quirky, weird games, mind-blowing upsets and the start of the Pete Carroll vs. Jim Harbaugh hate fest that carried on into the NFL.

If Oregon ends up dominating the B1G, I'll be fine.

Well softball or no softball, if you're not bringing in the bacon you're gonna get the axe.

Mack Rhoades, for all his faults, was a fantastic fundraiser.

Our #1 target, Jeremiah Dickey, is also a great fundraiser.

I wanted him gone after the Holgorsen extension. Not sure I could name another thing he did. We’re pretty much up to speed on facilities now so it’s time to bring in a rainmaker.

    https://www.houstonchronicle.com/te...or-candidates-chris-pezman-fired-19525222.php

Where does UH begin in its AD search?

“We’re not at any direction right now,” a source with knowledge of the process said. “We’re just going to look and see what’s out there.”

That could involve casting a wide net. For starters, UH’s search committee will focus on candidates that have overseen “big-time athletic departments” and have experience with football, men’s basketball and baseball.

No timetable was given to when the school plans to have a new hire in place. In the meantime, Raymond S. Bartlett, UH’s senior vice president for administration and finance, will serve as interim athletic director.

Houston Chronicle UH beat writer Joseph Duarte offers a few candidates that could be involved in the school’s search:
•Jeramiah Dickey | Current position: Athletic director at Boise State
•David Sayler | Current position: Athletic director at Miami (Ohio)
•Scott Barnes | Current position: Vice president and director of intercollegiate athletics at Oregon State
•Lisa Campos | Current position: Vice president for intercollegiate athletics at UTSA
•David Fletcher | Current position: General manager of Lone Star Sports & Entertainment

It seems like they are going to go after a fundraiser they need cash for NIL and other things. UH has 3 coaches that should have been fired already and they have let them stick around because of money.
