I think this is the quote for the rest of the year. Luckily Reggie and Kenny pointed out that it's the exact opposite.. a team that plays half-court, slower pace. I would actually rather face Utah than Lakers, Nuggets or even the Warriors. Off all the other 7 playoff teams, do we matchup with Utah the best? Or an even better question, when we prove charles wrong, what kind of humiliation would he deserve?
This isn't big news. We all know Chuck has no love for Yao and the Rockets. He's not going to give us a chance ever. I can't stand Barkley as an analyst. He's stubborn, and not very knowledgeable.

u have to admit he's funny. he may say stupid things, but he's hilarious. don't take what he says seriously though. i might get heated at some of the things he says then i watch him some more and it's humor.

now he just said, after dallas, phoenix, san antonio, utah, detroit, and miami, everyone else is mediocre. what an a$$hole. i like the show and i like the entertainment that barkley brings, but its evident he goes out of his way to specifically diss us.
I think I figured out Charles. He judges teams by how well they play his team -- Phoenix. Remember, he follows the Suns more than any other team because that's where he lives. The Suns have struggled against the Spurs, Mavs, and Jazz this season. That's why he respects those teams. But the Suns have absolutely had their way against the Rockets for two years now. Almost every time the Rockets play them, they're made to look terrible. That includes twice this season with Yao AND McGrady playing. I finally get the "hate". And you know what? I can't blame him.
I just really hate it when ever the Rockets are on TNT. You have to listen to Charles talk about how bad the Rockets are, that it needs to be T-Mac's team, blah blah blah. And then we either get Doug Collins or Steve Kerr. I mean wtf, Doug Collins is the worse commentator in basketball history, I don't understand why hes around. Is it because he could never coach a team up to win anything even when he had Michael Jordan? Atleast he has quit calling a dunk a "thunder jam". One of the worse basketball moments I've even seen was Doug Collins repeative asking why such in such player didn't go up with the thunder jam, "I don't understand why he didn't go up for the thunder jam". But whats the alternative? Listening to Steve Kerr give the Rockets backhanded compliments. He should just come out and say, I thought McGrady was a great player in Orlando, but since he's been with the Rockets I hate his guts. Anyway, my two cents
Barkley is absolutely a joke as an TV analyst. I don't care what he says. He'd better retire and practice his golf.
