My best play is the ankle sprain. Unfortunately it's usually my own. :)

I will come depending on the date.

Gutter- What are your apartments called? I live at 59 and Buffalo Speedway, or at least close to that.

I'm 17, but I will still ball you guys up.

I can do either day B/Crispee.

I can probably bring one other person too.

Crispee - maybe I can get Josh to come out too.

I'm 22, hoop once a week (full-court). I used to hate full court but I like it now. I am definitely more aggressive when playing full court, shoot like Cuttino and pass like Moochie. :)

Great, it sounds like we actually might have people that can play. We'll have to make sure they are split up so they all aren't on the same team. Depending on how many people show up, maybe we could have two skill levels, so us less cooridinated people can get some action also. Gutter Snipe, what time can we reserve the court, and for how long? We should try to decide for sure soon so you can make the reservation.

So, we need to hear back from Gutter Snipe regarding the court size and quality of basket (I hate when they don't protrude from the wall). If it is not too small and has a real basket, I think that will be better for those who just want to hang...pool and bbq pit for hamburgers and such.

Otherwise, my choice is for the covered courts, not indoor. I think it will be funner at a park. I'd love to bring my dog. What we can do is use Autry Court (Rice U) as a backup plan if weather is bad. I'll get confirmation on whether I really can have 10 guests. If so, they have 3 full court, courts. If not that, then Kam's rec center, although they only have one court, but you can reserve it.

What do you think? There's a good chance the weather could be excellent, so outdoor covered courts could be cool.

Also, why 3pm B?

What are preferences for time?

btw: I forget who asked, but Frisbee Golf is free at all the courses in town.

I have a tee time that morning, and I wanted to make sure I could get to wherever we are playing on time. :) I asked about how much frisbee golf was. That's cool that it's free, maybe I should stop playing real golf and try frisbee golf. Save a ton of money that way.

I like april 13th, it sounds like a good date. I got that day off. I prefer indoors, but whatever works. If we had a skill level like Rookie, Starter, and All Star, i would be, let's see.... Probably somethin like Springfield Bound. No actually, it depends. I have to see how you guys play before i assert a skill level.

I'm almost 18 but I act like I'm 9.

edit: I can't dunk, but I'm used to playing with people that can. What I meant was, sometimes there are shorter goals (8 feet...I got no ups) and we could do ridiculous smashes. Plus ya'll are gonna have to tell me if yall can dunk or not, because I don't wanna be throwing up an alley-oop only to find that you possess a 12" vertical :D

another edit: I can play but be warned that I am the goofiest dude to ever set foot on a basketball court. I got legit D though. Don't foul me and you won't get stabbed  ;) :D

I have the shortest vertical in the history of the game. I figure hey if you dont get off the floor, you cant sprain your ankle! :D

Ok, sorry I was off-line for a little bit. The court size is fine for a half-court: the basket swings out from the wall, there is a 3-point line, and the size of the gym in all is basically a standard volleyball court. The hoop is in fine shape, mostly because it's rare we even see anyone who can dunk in here.

The location is at South Rice and Westpark, just south of Westpark. For those of you who don't know where that is, it's near 59 South and 610. There's only the one hoop, but there is a pool table and weight room there as well.

I'm gonna run down and check on the showers thing - but I'm pretty sure it's just a bathroom or two. I'll go down right now and check availability for the 13th and 14th.

No showers. The April schedule isn't up yet, but if we decide this weekend, we'll probably have our pick of days. There isn't really a limit on how long we can book, but I know I dont' have the best stamina out there =)

Indoors
Full Size/Good Basket
Pool Table
Swimming Pool
BBQ Pit

this is a no-brainer, imo.

whaddyathink...we give up full-court, but some people want to just hangout.

You fools are just lucky I will not be in Houston until May - otherwis you would face the Hobbled Knees offensive attack.
