    Hi,

I am looking to move to the Texas Medical Center. Does anyone know of great condominiums, lofts, or townhouses around the TMC. Would like access to the lightrail, and an above average housing.

A couple of my friends stay at the Valencia. They really like it because of all the amenities and proximity to the rail. I would stay there too but I couldn't afford to buy. Also, they have like monthly fees for upkeep crap that I wasn't down with. Are you looking for anything in particular or have any specific requirements?

I stay further South down the rail right across the street from the Reliant Park stop at Fannin Street Station. I have a two bedroom for about 1K, but I really like being able to just walk across the street to get to school. Also safety was a big priority and in my 1.5 yrs here I have only heard of one break-in. Let me know if you end up staying here, I'd love the referral cash ;)

Ohh, i'd say those are more like living in luxury, rather than just above average. Why not get something off of downtown (around montrose area, between I-10 and 59S)? Seems like you could get something more private and larger for the same price range. It's not that far from the TMC either.

their are briargreen and green briar condo's there. They are a bit older but it's a relatively quiet complex and fairly spacious apartments for a great price.

Green Briar is also not bad but a bit more expensive.

I wanted to edit, but I couldn't so:

I am looking to buy, and not just rent. Looked at Braeswood Place, and it was really nice.
