http://www.nba.com/features/power_rankings.html What a disgrace! Ranked below ORL, LAL, DEN, NOH, MEM, WAS, CHI. This gets me stoked. Even if we get back to where we were in 04-05, we're still a 50-win team which is certainly better than a #16 ranking. Can't wait to see us make the "experts" look like fools!
What is important is the power ranking after the season. But yet, I like the addition of Shane Batteir to the roster.
if healthy, id put us around #10, not quite in the elite group of teams, but not far off. id still like to see us get another free agent.
apparently we jumped 6 spots from last year.. i would say they are pretty accurate with the rankings considering nobody honestly knows the health of our two stars....
Not quite sure our team is AS GOOD as it was in 04-05. Maybe talent wise but that team had chemistry thats hard to duplicate. They played well as a team. Also ALL of those teams are better than they were in 04-05. ORL- Dwight(East's Amare, is getting better n better) Overally maybe slightly but still better than that year. LAL- Same, probably about the same, possibly better, but could not have gotten worse. DEN- Carmelo coming into form, have stacked lineup and tons of talent. Hard to say Rockets are CLEARLY better than them NOH- Most improved team since then. All of a sudden an EXCITING TEAM to watch. Sad to say but they may soon be better than us(if not already). WAS- Would still give Rockets the run for their money in the playoffs. They definitely gave Cleveland the run for theirs. I would say they're pretty even with us. CHI- Possibly the brightest future belongs to the Bulls. I believe they can contend next year. They have the tools. Again, Probably better than Rox
um, have you taken a look at our roster? besides, this is a freakin' preseason ranking. it doesn't mean anything. plus, have you taken a look at our roster? five of the seven teams you mentioned made the playoffs last year. btw, have you taken a look at our roster?
