I saw it last night, expecting a gore fest since so many reviews said that people left due to the gore. While it did contain more graphic scenes than most horror movies, it wasn't a lot worse than house of wax with paris hilton, actually it was barely more gory than HoW. All in all, its an overrated horror movie

Yeah, but in HoW, Paris Hilton gets killed.

THAT is worth price of admission.

Were you the same one who was bashing Wolf Creek? I dont understand, what were you looking for in it to be a good horror film? Is your idea of a horror film supposed to be something that has some jumpy parts in it or something. How was that an overrated horror film?

Xenochimera, ever heard of a movie called Ishi the killer? I saw shirts and DVD at Frys before.

If you're really into disturbing sh-t that's just slightly better than face of death (only because we know this is a movie and not real, i hope) than maybe that's your couple of tea. I just remember looking away and squirming half of the time.

Gore is boring. Satan is boring. Killers are boring.

The best horror is what you imagine, not what you see.

It's not that you have to like disturbing stuff, it's just you gotta know going in that its a shock horror film, not all scary movies are scream or something where you got these parts that make people jump. I think a lot of people who went to check out Wolf Creek and Hostel probably thought it was a good idea to bring your date to it or something, and it just turns out that their grossed out.

If you guys want gore, you can get it for free, and it's real as well.

    Warning: This is pretty sick.

    You've been warned.

    Again, you've been warned.

Yea, I've been on the Internet for like 15 years (holy bejezuz, I'm getting old) and I thought I've seen it all.

But that site completely stopped me in my tracks.

In that case Ishi the killer is worse, I don't know how the Japanese think of those things up but that's some disturbed individuals.

It's funny you mention Ichi, because I just watched it last weekend. I think Miike is one of the most talented directors I've seen in a long time, but this movie is just nasty. Alot of the violence is tongue-in-cheek, but you still feel like you need a brain enema after watching it.

However, I have to admit I laughed at the scene where Kakihara and his wannabe girlfriend are yanking on the cheeks of the club owner.

I had a roommate in college who rented Faces of Death 1 and 2. The people deaths didn't bother me too much (they were either recreations or accidents where there wasn't enough left to know that it was once a human), but the slaughter of the baby seals was pretty disturbing.

no i didnt not bash wolf creek, i did not see that movie. the plot in hostel was extremely predictble, i saw mainly for the gore or expected gore at least. I thought house on haunted hill was pretty scary, the shinning, good plot twists that i like are Saw 1+2, identity, Oldboy.

I saw this on Sat night and it is by far one of the WORSE movies I have ever seen. Do NOT waste your money. All you get to see is lots of t***, and then some torturing and killing. Very weak movie. SAW I and II were superior in gore and plot, which I guess is not saying much considering how horrible Hostel was (I found the 2 Saws entertaining at least).

I can't believe Tanrantino put his name behind a piece of crap movie like this.
