What exactly do these "people" think they achieved by doing this? IF these idiots are ever caught , killing them would be too easy I think. They should be put in a dark, damp, cell no bigger than a closet, and every night they should get punched in the face by this man's son. The kind of punch that makes your eyes water and your nose bleed. Every night. And when he gets too old to punch hard enough, his son (Paul Johnson's grandson) gets a shot at them. They should suffer like that every night until they die, miserable,old, in constant pain, and alone. When they do finally die, I'm sure there afterlife wont be any better.
Actually I could get behind an attack on AQ in Saudi since there is more evidence of a link to the war on terror than Iraq.
This just makes me sick. I can't imagine what that family has gone through over the last few days, not to mention the man who was taken captive (and apparentlly beheaded). I honestly don't understand how people could do something like that.
It's very sad but it also causes more concern because terrorists love this kind of attention so I think this is just the beginning of many more beheadings. I'm sure they will do this every chance they get. The bastardization of Islam is what this is. No God could ever justify killing a defenseless civilian in such a manner.

Note how one of the major Saudi clerics DID come out and state that this is not Islamic, that the assailants should release the hostage, and that attacking innocents is not right. Last night, I was talking with my dad, and was saying I hope the dumb, twisted folks don't hurt this innocent guy. I checked on CNN this morning and was relieved nothing was mentioned, but it was too good to last. Prayers go out to this guys family, and his soul. dc rock ... you should add a bench with nails sticking out so when they get tired and want to sit down, they can't ... just stand for the rest of your days being abused. Abhorable. Just thinking about hurting another person in such proximity sends chills down my spine. Disgusting. RIP.
Agreed. It's peculiar how prevalent it is in Islam. Truly. Why is that? This is not a loaded partisan queston it is sincere. Why are there so many of these nutjobs?
