Horseback Riding in Houston/Katy

    My sister and grandma want to go horseback riding today or sometime this weekend but dont know of any places in Houston/katy where they provide the horses and trail so you can go ride. Do you all know of any places in houston/katy where they can ride horses thanks:)

    I'd imagine you could at the big equestrian center out on S. Mason.

    It depends on what kind of riding you want to do. Actually I don't know of places now, but I remember going to riding place when I was younger, and all the horses did basically was follow each other. If that's enough for them, then check for any place that has western trail riding.

    If they want to get out in a situation where they are controlling the horses, speed, and all that, I'm not sure.

    Then if they want to ride English saddle style, check out the equestrian centers and look up places that offer riding lessons.

    there's this really great place of 1960, they have like miles and miles of trails, they rent out horses by the hour (i think) it's supposed to be a great place to go ride, unfortunately I have no idea what it's called. I do believe they are in the Yellow Pages and I want to say that like most places out there, they are called Cypress or Spring something or another.... --- good luck.
