Why no one has mentioned his name here?

He is a good defender and clutch shooter. Maybe we should sign him up and he should be cheap.

He is about 1,000,000 years old, and useless during the regular season :)

I'd sign him for depth. Plus, he did do the little things well vs the lakers in the playoffs.

Rox do not need another PF. Center, yes. PF, no. For all those who disagree, there is always Leon Smith or EG.

Same could be said about Derek Fisher, only in a more credible fashion.

    :p

But, really, Horry? Tinman's condition must be contagious. ;)

Yes, we need him for depth, in case Howard, Taylor and Weatherspoon go down. You just never know when your top 3 power forwards are going to be injured.

    No thanks

No thanks.... I really like Howard, we need good spot up shooters bc Yao and Tmac demand to be doubled.

Oddly enough, Howard is the perfect PF to go along with Yao.

I know a lot of guys here want an enforcer. But it's more important to punish the double team. Howard can do that, and is a better rebounder than Taylor.

Howard will get the job done. Nothing spectacular, but who cares, thats what Yao and T-mac are for.

Umm, so you are satisfied with the Rockets standing pat with our current selection of 4s?? Weatherspoon is garbage (which doesn't translate to depth my friend), Howard will not produce offensively like he did in orlando, making him a less effective player overall.

The Rockets are worse defensively at the 4 because of this trade, and could use a decent intangible filled 6"10" defender in Horry, who gives us.......depth.

Howard is not a dependable jumpshooter. He has zero arc on his perimeter shots and often comes up short.

    Me think not.

He gave us some quality rebounding and hard nosed defense this year....not garbage IMO

All of the three-headed 20 million dollar monster of a PF Rox have can play. Only Juwann may be worth his contract, and thus marketable, even if Mo is better. Spoon has heart.

Clearly one or two need to be relocated to balance the team (and make room for EG, of course [LOL]). Clearly it is unclear how either of the other two can be moved (Ainge in Boston really likes Mo? Seattle? Anyone calling for Spoon?).

Horry's biggest asset was his defense and and his soft shooting touch. Sadly he has nothing left on both accounts!. Waste of money!. I rather have a guy like Keon clark!

If this isn't 1997, then I'd have to say - pass.
