How does a team with what many consider the best PG in the league get beat down by a pretty mediocre team like the 76ers?

It's not like Hornets have nothing but scrubs playing alongside CP. Granted they're not that great offensively. They're 24th in the league in PPG but they have a top ranked defense.

A lot of people considered this team a shoe in to be in the playoffs but really, they're the same below average team from last year. They had a great start to the season but since then they've played .500 ball.

If the Rockets can get their ish together they should be able to pass them in the standings and possibly sneak into the postseason. That's if they can pass the Blazers and the Suns for that last seed.

The 2nd half is about to start and the Hornets could easily turn this around and pull out a victory...hopefully they don't.

    GO ROCKETS!

Told ya. I've been saying the Hornets would crash back to earth since they were 11-1.

CP3 is great and David West is good. But a team with Marco Belinelli and Trevor Ariza as their 3rd/4th leading scorers is, at best, 1st round fodder in the Western Conference.

The Hornets wish they were playing .500 since their hot start. They're now 3-8 since starting 11-1.

I watched a stream of the game online. Ariza looks as bad as he did in Houston. I didn't think it was possible but his ball handling skills have gotten worse.

You mean to tell me that a team with Ariza was unable to score the basketball? All CP3 has to do is stand at the 3-point line and wait for Ariza to draw the defense for an open shot.

Ariza has tunnel vision. I'd say his tunnel vision is almost worse than JTs. He's pretty damn stupid too, he runs into the corner pivots and either travels or loses the ball because he doesn't realize that teams are doubling him every time he run right into the corner.

I was being sarcastic about Ariza's ability to hit the open man by switching CP3 and Ariza's roles on the team.

Everyone that wasn't on the Hornets bandwagon knew the Hornets would fall back to Earth soon. That team sucks.

Took a look at Trevor's stats, and I thought there was a mistake at first. .391 FG% and .300 at the 3 PT Line. Really?
I'll admit, I liked Ariza, but I'm pretty damn glad we have Lee, considering how he has been playing.

Exactly, I was so surprised people were b****ing about trading Ariza away

It's as if people suddenly forgot how much they wanted to smash their TV everytime Ariza tried to dribble, do a layup, or brick 20 open shots.

He's not as horrible on the defensive end but honestly, it's not much of a disparity when compared to Lee. And Lee is currently 4th in the league in 3-point percentage.

CP3 is not playing great which leaves them with one capable NBA player in David West and a bunch of below average role players.

Not a good team at all.

76ers are on the rise. They almost beat the Celtics just a game ago. It took a KG basket on the Buzzer to beat them. They have a good young core and Collins i getting them to play well. They started the season slowly, but are a team on the rise.

they're losing chemistry, offensively and defensively. everything went right for them in the beginning but once they started losing, they started losing that energy they started off with. Losing makes everything worse. I also think the fact that they are one of the worst attended teams in the league has something to do with that, it's harder for them to get motivation.

I was confused by the reactions to Ariza on the Hornets squad. The Ariza nut hugers were so crazy, that they were crediting Ariza for the Hornets turnaround instead of CP3 being healthy this season.

Ariza wouldn't be so bad, if he wasn't taking almost as many shots as Chris Paul(Ariza 10 FGA vs CP3 11 FGA). He seems to think he is a 2nd/3rd option, after he left the Lakers.
