I read somewhere Ric Flair was a Hornets fan back when they were in Charlotte. I guess that has something to do with it.

Ironically, Ric Flair was known as the dirtiest player in the game, just like Bruce Bowen who is playing against the Hornets.

Ric Flairs hometown is Charlotte, North Carolina, actually all of the Carolinas is known as Flair Country so he is a huge Hornets and Panthers fan, he sometime even mentions them in his promos because he is the 16 TIME world Heavyweight Champion,,THE NATURE BOY RIC FLAIR WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I heard before it had something to do with Baron Davis - found this via google

    Woooo

Interesting enough it mentions a T-Mac playoff guarantee in the article.

I love it... everytime I hear it while watching Hornets games, I WHOOOOOOO! along with the crowd.

Yep, Ric Flair is from Charlotte, and I assume it just transitioned over when the Hornets franchise moved from Charlotte to New Orleans.

I thought it was the Gwen Stefanie song that has been popular in the last year with Akon...

they play that gwen stefani and everybody clap your hand song in most arenas

that piano tune where the TC crowd is suppose to chant along LETS GO ROCKETS is pretty lame

I wish we can do something original, like play the Tri Lambda's main theme song after timeouts or something.

God it's annoying. Last night towards the end of the game, they played it 7 times in a row. 7 TIMES IN A ROW!! It's bad enough they play it every time CP3 does something the whole game, but to drill it into your head at the end...

Ya I heard a good deal of the Stefani "woo-ooo" song, but I think that was secondary/derivative of the Flair-woo, right?

I feel like choking a baby every time I hear that puke-inducing of a song. Or more like every time I hear Gwen's disgusting voice.. and Akon. Two of the worst voices in music history combined in one song.

I wish Akon would get away like he says.. and never come back. Take Gwen with ya!
