Plus, no mention in this "article" that the Taliban said the attack was in response to a certain film and an attempt to kill Prince Harry who was stationed there. ummm I don't know what you see in that post that makes him an idiot. He is right. Camp Bastion is a British base. I know since I was there at their medical center for 3 days. Right next to Bastion there is Camp Leatherneck the largest U.S. Marine base in Afghanistan. If this story is remotely true U.S. aircraft would be in that base. I would know since I was in Leatherneck(a base most Marines stop by when deployed to Helmend Province, Afghanistan before they head over to their area of operation)too. So either the the article typed in the wrong base or its entirely false. Either way this article is shaky.
I'll explain it to you. When you divert resources from one war to fight a pointless war you put people in danger and diminish your chances for a timely and succesful end to the first war. Only Republican chicken hawks think you can run around the world fighting whatever wars you want to fight at any given time.
Both wars were stupid in hindsight. There has been no army capable of holding down Afghanistan. If the Russians couldn't do it what made the US think it could?

Everything was not planned and decided overnight.”
