The Rockets have perennially been one of the best defensive teams in the league, but their inability to score consistency, particularly in the clutch has been an issue whenever they've been without Yao Ming. Point guard Aaron Brooks says Yao's return will be the key to late-game situations where Houston needs a key bucket to ice a win.

"When Yao's on the floor he's going to be a focal part (of the offense)," said Brooks. "I think we had a few games last year where we went about five minutes without scoring a basket and I'm sure he's going to be in there for those times. We need him, he'll help us, and I'm just looking forward to playing with him again. We've played a couple of pick-up games and I had forgotten how easy it is to play with the guy."

Yao's return will certainly be the biggest positive for Houston, but the addition of players like Brad Miller, who knows Adelman's system backwards and forwards, and Courtney Lee, who can push the ball with the best of them, will also help spark Houston's offense when it stalls.
