What do you guys think about him?

I do not know anything of his ability behind the plate, but he has hit well in Corpus.

The bat is the question mark with him. It has been a very encouraging year for his prospect status.

Best major league comparison I can make is Humberto Quintero.

If he has a quick snap throw, he is well on his way to being the next Q.

Garcia is interesting. He was drafted in 35th round in 2008, and has improved almost every year as he has moved up the system. He doesn't hit for much pop, though his 4 HR this year almost doubles his career output (5 HR before this year). Garcia doesn't strike out much, and has done pretty well defensively. He's thrown out 19 of his 40 base stealers this year (48%), and is doing well behind the plate. He's 23, and will likely see time in OKC soon, if not next year. With the (now) good depth at catcher in the system, Garcia may get a shot at a backup gig in Houston or another team.

I saw him play the other night...does he get more playing time than Max Stassi?

I don't think so. They split time at Catcher and DH.

Stassi started the season on the DL, so it's logical that he would have played fewer total games.
