This is just extra credit. I need to come up with 10 ways to make the holidays environment friendly. I've got 3. 1. Election night - Try to develop a system to vote via computer rather then paper ballot. 2. Bus pool students to popular cities. This would be like UT-Houston or Dallas. 3. Drink draft beer to reduce use of aluminum and glass. Anything else guys ? ------------------ "There are two players carrying the Rockets right now. Hakeem and Olajuwon." Isiah Thomas
Winning the Lotto would make my holidays damn friendly! ------------------ Save our children from the TAAS test: TAAS test report card TAAS test fact sheet
Other ideas: - recycle wrapping paper or save for reuse next year - let city use old christmas trees (real ones) to turn into compost or mulch - instead of purchasing pre-packaged indoor decorations, use items gathered from outside (pinecones, flowers, evergreen branches...). When the season is over, toss everything in the compost pile. - send e-mail Christmas cards as opposed to paper ones.
The 3 foot rule is null and void during the 12 days of Christmas! ------------------ Only in America....do we use the word 'politics' to describe the process so well: 'Poli' in Latin meaning 'many' and 'tics' meaning 'bloodsucking creatures'.
Thanks Rascal, I got up to ten with your last suggestion. ------------------ "There are two players carrying the Rockets right now. Hakeem and Olajuwon." Isiah Thomas
