An article last Sunday about surprises in politics referred incorrectly to the turkey carried by President Bush during his unannounced visit to American troops in Baghdad over Thanksgiving. It was real, not fake. i expect to hear apologies from all the rubber turkey conspiracy theorists on this board...
I understand that when they saw Bush and the Turkey...the troops asked him..."Where did you get that?" The turkey responded, " I won him in a raffle" DD
The real turkey was the one holding the platter. That's OK....he'll get roasted on November 2nd instead of Thanksgiving Day!
link It was a lot like the roasted pig that adorns the tables at some luaus. That is not where the meat is usually served from. It may not have been rubber but it was definitely NOT for consumption.
if the anti-bush crowd went out and created a thread on every false premise that the pro-bushies have said, we would need another forum. If this is the best defense you can come up with, you're really grasping at air.
