I eat there about twice a week. --- HPD: Man found dead in Subway shop after breaking in By ROSANNA RUIZ Copyright 2008 Houston Chronicle Nov. 28, 2008, 12:45PM Police are trying to identify a man who was found dead inside a southeast Houston sandwich shop this morning after apparently breaking in. A woman at a nearby bus stop called police at about 7:30 a.m. after she saw the man's body in the doorway of a Subway shop in the 3700 block of Scott, officers said. The man, who appeared to have been homeless, apparently got inside by breaking a window, said Officer B. Nabors, a Houston police homicide investigator. Police found bottled drinks from the shop stacked beside the body. The man bore no signs of trauma, Nabors said. The area is a turd. UH plans to revitalize Scott in the next 10-20 years with housing, endzone facility, shops, etc. along the rail line. I would be scared for my life to live there. Heck, I feel sorry for the students who live on campus now.
