Most teams on average have played around 18-19 home games and 18-19 away games through this juncture of the season. Some teams that are WAY off from that avg:

Orlando Hm 16 gms Away 25
    Phoenix Hm 16 Away 24
    Bucks Hm 16 Away 23
    Clippers Hm 23 Away 15

No biggie just found it pretty interesting. The Clippers 2nd half of the season is going to be pretty damn tough.

clippers and lakers tend to play a lot of home games at the start of the season because the grammys or emmys or something occupy staples for like 2 weeks in feb/march so they both go on long road trips then. To me I believe its best to have the most home games at the beg of the season and coming out of the trade deadline.

only reason is this will give you more practice time and more time for the coaching staff to solidify rotations and chemistry early on and you would probably start off better that way and then if a trade is made - again gives you more practice time (teams practice more during a home stand) to incorporate in any possible new players and account for any departed players

There are some teams will have not so balanced road / home played record at some points of the season.

And its mostly related to their arena schedule, such as the famous Grammy road trip for LA team, Spurs rodeo trip, ect.

    It happens.

Plus the fact that this season, most of the top teams are doing exceptional well on the road, I think the home court advantage is not that as important as before.

I think the home stand-road trip thing in the regular season is not so much about wins and losses. The concern for long road trips or jumping from home to road to home to road rapidly has some negative effect on a team.

First, as some have mentioned, a long home stand gives you more practice time. Second, traveling wears you out. It messes your body rhythm etc. I think the lengths of home stands and road trips through the season are more important than the ratio of home games and road games at a certain point of time.
