Anyone else here had to deal with this crap. It changed my home page (which was this one) and replaced it with an "about:blank" page with searches for valium, online casinos cialis ..et. and when I change it back to the BBS, the very next time I open a browser, the about:blank page comes back. I can't remove it in add/remove programs.

I can't IM anyone on AIM right now.

None of the popular anti spyware programs can delete it. Any help would be great.

Watch out for this. It's a good one.

Yeah, that one was tough to remove, but I eventually got it handled. It installs more than one piece of spyware, so there are a number of registry entries and .exe files that must be deleted.

It's spyware like this that is seriously making me consider starting a sidebusiness offering removal services.

no doubt...with 3 females in on my network at home...even with Spybot TSR installed, they still manage to get tons of these bastards on their computers eventually...I have gotten real good at finding different ways to get rid of the crap.

You cant even just use a couple of programs to fix them....it takes multiple programs to even get close to all of them off.

Reboot and start on safe mode then run anti-spy. Reboot in normal mode and run anti-spy. Reboot again in safe mode and run again.

If you have other log in in your computer, you may need to do the above process to those logins too.

Im sorry...but if you think that MS Antispy is gonna completely clean your computer...you are delusional

There is not one program that will get all of them...you have to use a arsenal of programs to get everything....
