I know you guys mentioned some home inspectors that you all have used before purchasing a home. Of course I didn't write any of them down. So if you have worked with a good inspector that is VERY thorough can you please hook me up with that info. The home was built in 1955 thats why I want a really thorough inspector. Also any tips for a first time home buyer is greatly appreciated.

I've used FOX INSPECTIONS, they're local, thorough and will provide you with a Word Document of the inspection along with photos of problem areas.

He's not the cheapest, but he is extremely thorough and he cares.

I would get a few quotes and then make a decision, be prepared to pay up to about $500.

    -home is about 2200 sq/ft

-the foundation has been repaired and has a tranferrable warranty

-the house has been treated for termites but it probably wouldnt hurt to get that inspected

    We charge $ 220.00 for this sq/ft. ( Structural & Mechanical )

I guess you did not understand my question, is the foundation a Slab on grade or a Pier & Beam ( crawl space under the house ) ?

    Termite Inspection $ 75.00 ( Does you lender require a termite ? )
