We already know that a win tomorrow night means 3rd seed and possibly 2nd seed if Denver loses. However, if we lose tomorrow night, then we will only lose home-court advantage if BOTH SA and Portland lose, right? Seems like a slim chance to me, but ya never know...

Did this really need it's own thread? There are about 4 other threads this question could have gone. But, to answer your question, the Rockets will lose home court with a LOSS at Dallas tomorrow, and if BOTH SA and Portland WIN. If either one of them loses, then the Rockets have home court over the loser.

If we lose at Dallas, I'd say we have about a 20% chance at home court advantage. New Orleans can't beat anyone on the road right now, and Portland can't lose at home. We need to beat the Mavs.

it's actually very likely for both SA and POR to win wednesday night. both teams still have something to play for + NOH sucks + DEN already clinched the division and likely will limit the minutes of their best players.
