The Commish is all about business. He knows better than anyone how popular the Rockets is internationally, especially in China, with Yao there. Just like he selected Okur but not Deron Williams an all-star. You don't get anymore domestic media coverage with Williams on the team. But by selecting Okur, that draws huge european especially turkish attention. The same applies here.
Even the commissioner doesn't get how playoff seeding works, apparently. Seriously, they made it more confusing then necessary. Even though the Rocekts are effectively a 4th seed, technically they'll be called a 5th. Lots of confusion will arise from this, I'm sure.

i think it was on coast to coast, but i missed that part. i just heard him say something about the raptors. and at the end he says he's thankful that there hasnt been any calls that affected a game's outcome hah. i wonder when that interview was done.
Damn! I missed it. Anyone has a video of that interview? ESPN should repeat that program overnight, it's one of my favorites although I miss it from time to time.
