This is coming from a Man U fan (and no, I'm not a bandwagoner, as I stared liking them sometime last winter)... but that team's offense is awe inspiring.

I'm currently watching them absoltely demolish a good Leeds Utd team... and it's like watching Leeds play a d3 tea in a FA up match, or something.

It's not just Henry. Leeds can't stop Arsenal's crosses, or even their "role players" on the ball. I know everyone has seeminly already ceded the CL to Real... but damn, I'm not so sure anymore.

Their defense is supposed to be mediocre... but it's looked good so far, and that may be all they need.

If you're *not* a soccer fan, you should watch this team. Don't like the lack of scoring, slow build-ups, etc? Not a problem with Arsenal. Wow. I'm impressed.

I'm starting to think George Best was right - United may have even more talent, but they're not nearly consistent enough to challenge Arsenal for the Premiership. Maybe the FA Cup...

not only are they good, but they should stay good. new stadium coming, and they always have had the coolest name. :)

I have been following EPL so much less since we got MLS here in america. I dont even have a favorite MLS team yet, but I really enjoy watching our domestic league more than the EPL these days. sure it is not the same level, but I guess there is some nation pride involved.

There will always be room for Arsenal in my heart though

    PEACE

    I hate Arsenal so much...

Their real only weak link is in goal, with Seamo. Solid back 4, very good MF, and good depth at striker. Too bad they let Inamoto go on a free transfer to Fulham, as he's been on fire this year.

1 pt out of every 2 matches ain't good. Especially when you have to face AC Milan 2 times in a row...

I just watched the match, and man, Arsenal could have won 7-1 if they hadn't blown other scoring chances.

As a Man U fan, I'm praying that Arsenal goes down the drain. That will really be the only way for Man U to win the EPL.

    Arsenal is damn good.

and i dont think Seaman is at all a weak link. Henry is one of the most impressive athletes i have ever seen.

I grew up in England and it cracks me up to hear you yanks talk about the PL teams. Yes, Arsenal is the Sh!tbomb and have my bet on the PL and Champs league, although I would love to see Bayern take it Sir Jackie. I assume you are talking about Munich and not Leverkusen. Real will probably win though because I hate them.

Does anyone know a good Champs League website besides soccernet.com on espn's site. I don't read Italian or spanish either.

You guys might like a new book called FEVER PITCH by Nick Hornby (not totally new, but newly in paperback). He's the guy who wrote High Fidelity. I think it's an excellent and funny sports book, a memoir by a life-long Arsenal fan. It's got a lot of UK football history starting in the late 1960s.

Having lived in Germany, Bayern unmistakeably refers to Bayern Munich. It's Bayer (no N) Leverkusen. Like the drug company. Yeah us yankees don't know anything about soccer, though.

Thanks for the tip Texx I always thought it was the same thing. What does it mean? Does Donovan play for Munich or Leverkusen? I would love to see a German club team come back into dominance. I am as sick of Real as I am of the Lakers.

And thanks for the sites Keeley - just what I wanted.
