I saw a promo for this on "Good Day Live" and checked it out. It costs $20 for a "What's Happening?" from "Rerun." Other hollywood stars include Lorenzo Lamas and his laser pointer from that Are You Hot show, the original Hulk Lou Ferrigno, and the Barbi Twins. Only sports guy on there is Tom Candiotti, "Ranked one of the top 100 baseball players in history" according to the site. Talk about an oversell.
No kidding he had 16 wins in his best year and more losses than wins for his career. He was a fairly good SP and an innings eater but thats it.
I think I saw the same show. Is this the same thing as where you can call washed up celebs and leave a message for $20 or something like that?
Didn't know Rome did his take on this; must have been hilarious. For those looking for the link: http://www.hollywoodiscalling.com/index.php Which is more outrageous and unbelieveable? It costs $29.95 for a customized live 30 second message and $19.95 for a 15 second message. "The vast majority of our celebrities are not motivated by financial reasons when it comes to this project. Their extraordinary achievements have made them tremendously popular all across the globe and they believe that our patented new service is a great way for them to stay in touch with their growing fan base. It's also a lot of fun."
I am surprised that this is the first I have heard of this thing. I mean with celebs like Todd Bridges and Fred "Rerun" Berry, I don't see how this thing could fail!
