Hollinger: Playoff Odds

    I didn't see this posted anywhere. Apologies in advance if it has.

    According to Hollinger, we have a 99.9% chance of making the playoffs, an 18.9% chance to make the finals, and an 8.7% chance to win it all. I thought it was interesting.

    His method is based on how well a team has been playing, factoring SOS and point differential on a possession basis with recent play receiving extra weight. Rockets on 18 game winning streak looks very good statistically, but his numbers can't see that Yao won't play in the tough games (SA, LAL, Boston).

    but it says the Lakers have the best shot in the WC. screw this list. it sucks.

    I along with a large majority of NBA fans would say the Lakers have the best shot. Not something to be upset over they are a great team.
