Yeah when you are 8.75 points behind the next worst player that's pretty terrible.

Of course look at how many Rockets dominate that 3rd page of playoff PER

    141 Luther Head
    133 Bobby Jackson
    131 Aaron Brooks
    112 Shane Battier
    100 Chuck Hayes

    I feel sorry for T-Mac.....

he's barely keeping his head above water. I don't think we'll see him next year.

yeah, i wouldn't wanna go to war with those freakin clowns either...

this proves my argument that i had a few weeks back stating that the Rockets would have been CLEARLY overmatched by ANY TEAM they would have faced in the first round...it just so happens that we drew the Jazz again and they handled us pretty easily...

we just DON'T have the personnel to cpmpete in the playoffs...

I don't think Battier should be blamed for anything. As we all know, he does amazing things that don't show up in the boxscore.

first off, calling our players "freakin clowns" is not nice. it actually makes me doubt your fandom.

and, the jazz did not handle us quite easily. wonder if you watched all 6 games or just the 6th game.

and, changing your wording from "don't" to "didn't" will be more appropriate. i believe, and i think the majority of our fans do too, that had we had a healthy yao, it would have been we handle the jazz "pretty easily".

btw, feeling "pitty" for the superstar on a failed team isn't the right way to look at things. it is this very mentality that has made many feel like the league owes kg a ring.

Well, I'm glad we didn't trader Alston this year. I can't imagine where we would have ended up without him and Yao this year. James and Francis definitely didn't pan out.

THATS ACTUALLY HOW HE GETS US. HE HAS PLAYED SO BAD THAT WHEN HE HAS A GOOD GAME WE GO CRAZY. BUT REALLY HE SHOULD BE DOIN THIS ON A CONSISTENT BASIS. WE NEED A BETTER STARTING POINT GUARD AND I CAN LIVE WITH RAFER FOR ANOTHER YEAR. BUT TRADING LUTHER IS A MUST. WE NEED A BIGGER SHOOTING GUARD OFF THE BENCH FOR T-MAC.

Using caps isn't going to make anyone pay more attention to your posts than they deserve. If anything, folks here will assume that you're about 12 years old. Are you? With all due respect, of course.

Kind of an over exaggeration by Hollinger, hating on a guy that played a minimum of minutes in the playoffs. How about blaming the round 1 exit on Bobby Jackson shooting 28% 20/70. I think that he had more to do with us losing than Luther.

LOL, I don't post on here that often. I didn't know there was some kinda rule against caps. I mean this is a forum.

I think Hollinger went easy on Luther. He said the crowd was visibly relieved at something Luther did in the postseason. I don't remember that moment. :D

    Trade his sorry ass.

Totally agree. Battier did very well overral in the series. Some other role players were not contributing enough.
