I hope certain overpaid Rockets listen to his speech.
especially the 'competitive' part of the speech.

That Krause part was a car wreck that makes you want to turn your head but can't help watch.

MJ definitely didn't hold back and I'm glad he didn't. He was the GOAT and he expressed his feelings freely without beating around any bushes or being "politically correct" for a lack of better words. He spoke very eloquently yet truthfully. His analogy of adding logs to a burning fire when speaking of his competitive spirit and drive was very inspirational.

There were/are/will be players more physically gifted and maybe even more naturally talented than Jordan but he strove to be the best and you could really understand that when he gave his speech. Growing up as a die-hard Blazers/Drexler fan I despised Jordan but as I got older I couldn't help but appreciate his thirst to be the best and GOAT.

To the posters who are about 25 and older... we're all very lucky to have watched Jordan play.

NBA.com has all the speeches in full.

Jordan didn't say anything too bad about Jerry Krause, Krause started it with his comment earlier about not attending, so Jordan's response was that no one invited him. Lots of people hated Jerry Krause back in the day and I guess los of people still hate him. Jordan did talk some trash though, Bryon Russell, Isiah Thomas, Pat Riley, Jeff Van Gundy. Entertaining speech.

This was Sinatra like, he pretty much did it his way.
If Kobe was "Driven", this was the R rated and original gangster version of it.

Crumbs Krause broke up the team when he ran Phil Jackson off. Fatboy actually thought he was the main reason why the Bulls won six titles.

Since he broke up the team the Bulls haven't sniffed a championship.

Jordan didnt leave the game on his own terms cause of Krause. Never got to say goodbye to the Bulls fans so understandably he wanted to get the last jab at donut man.

Coming from Chicago, I was always a die hard Bulls fan. Until Krause destroyed the team. You are right about Krause believing that it was he who made the Bulls champions and I still hate him for that. I am much more of a Rockets fan now but I still feel sad whenever I see the Bulls play. Anyway, congratulations MJ you are truly the best of all time and thanks for the wonderful memories.
