Its been that time for a loooooooonggggg time. Doubt Drayton has the balls to pull the plug on Berry though.
I hear this a lot and I really don't know enough about Berry or how much a good hitting coach can contribute to a team over a bad hitting coach. What I am confident of is that 98% of the problem is that we have bad hitters and the best hitting coach in the world wouldn't change that fact.
Yes, I'd like to think he is part of the problem. I didnt like how Mills was forced to bring back some of the old staff.
It takes balls to fire a positional coach that the vast majority of people know nothing about and don't care at all about?
Maybe if they didn't fill their roster with totally undisciplined hitters who laugh about the idea of working a walk they wouldn't be so terrible. Maybe.
I am hoping that this season finally seals the deal for Drayton to get the boot. The fans should be turning their backs on this franchise in droves, hopefully forcing him to sell to someone who actually is committed to building a legitimate professional baseball franchise, and not just some place to sell overpriced crap food to 25,000 trapped and hungry people 80 times a year.
Maybe they would help get Lee on track, or Matsui to come close to his regular sucky self, rather then the historical suckiness we've seen this season.
hahahaha i know right? in fact, mclane has fired positional coaches in-season more often than he's fired managers.
that pic is hysterical. looks like they're grimacing over passed gas. ...by the way, "flatulence" is the best descriptor for what dribbles out of that "leader's" mouth.
