    i dont think it was staged. i think people are just plain weird and mr billy bob seems entitled to be an ass i guess.

    the guy doing the interview seemed to be very professional.

    Not staged. He just didn't want anyone mentioning that he was an actor, which set him off. The only time it was mentioned was in the intro, and every single question was about music, but whatever.

    I guess he wants the whole world to pretend he's never been in a movie before. And in an ironic way their confrontation about it made it the majority of the interview. I'm sure no one in the whole world gave his band an initial listen because they were curious about Billy Bob.

    His band mates looked happy about the whole thing. And by 'happy' I mean 'annoyed by what a douche Billy Bob acted like'.

    That wasn't a HISSY FIT. I saw it as an eloquent way of telling the DJ guy "STFU, ahole, we said not to say that sh_tuff, so please don't."

    I agree, the DJ guy was VERY professional and kept his cool.
    During the interview or way back as a kid? :confused:

    I got about 4 minutes into it and realized I didn't give enough of a **** about Billy Bob to care he threw a fit. haha

    I made a random Billy Bob reference earlier today in clutchfans. Then later on this from Billy Bob appears. Coincidence? is, we're both prickly

    it might be part of the documentary because this guy was actually on sports radio 610 promoting his band a few weeks ago as they made their way through houston and i dont remember him acting like this much of an a hole

    I only watched 4 minutes of it but one thing I noticed was that none of his bandmates acted like it was anything out of the ordinary.

    I like the random crap he was throwing back at the interviewer about baseball and the movie monster magazine he liked when he was young. I guess the producer and host screwed up the interview; but I wonder if Billy Bob would have the same "instructions" for NPR or any other non-Canadian radio show.

    Incidentally, I can't think of a lot of anything at all Billy Bob's done theatrically that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed; except for Armageddon, and maybe his bit part as the President in Love Actually.

    Note the computer screen to the right of the interviewer, a pm that states:

    If this really goes sideways - I have new Niel standing by.

    Meaning, not staged (ie BBT is a prick).
