You're really making this argument? Parker and Manu were playing with a HOF power forward that was the best in the game.

KG and Ray Allen are arguably HOF's themselves, and in their prime would've been a devastating pair if they played together. They don't have as many titles because they weren't together as long.

    LOL Gasol + Phil Jackson...

Are we talking about putting them on the current squad? What's the time frame here.

I guess I take KG + Allen regardless.

Wait - so titles are dependent on the team, and not just on the best player?

Be careful.. Tinman isn't a fan of that kind of thing.

Gotta go with Billups/Rip. If the Rockets win the chip I don't want it to be because they played the stack-the-superstars game.

    Remember KG without Cassell?
    Remember Ray Allen without Cassell?

Both of these guys were great, but couldn't carry without another player or two.

Parker/Ginobli + Yao wouldn't do it for ya?

    I don't understand this thread.

Do you mean, replace two current Rockets with the choices?

With the team now, if we had to replace Yao (highest paid rocket?), I'd take Gasol and Jackson.

    Brooks
    Martin
    Ariza
    Scola
    Gasol.

    HC - Jackson

That team would be just as scary as the Yao-led team; in fact, Gasol can move quicker, allowing Brooks and Martin to speed up the tempo than they could with Yao.

I guess you can say the Yao/Tmac era or Yao era because all of these guys won championships during that stretch.

KG is not "arguably" a HoFer. He is a first ballot, jersey retired on two teams, HoFer.

Having him on this poll skews it considerably.

HOF yes. able to carry a team?

    no.

Shaq, able to carry a team?

    yes.
