I think Orlando with Hill and Tmac would have been better than this current Rocket team, but ultimatly Tmac will have to get Yao to play harder every night or he will have major regrets.

If it wasn't for weisbrod he might, but after the way weissy has treated him, I don't think so. We have to thank weisbrod for that :D

Niether has any championships, how can you make that claim so surely? Yao has the talent, but still doesn't have the drive.

Grant Hill has been awesome. I never would've thought he'd come back like this...whatever type of surgery they did to his ankle was a miracle. I use to love watching him play...just hope they take it easy on him and not over play that ankle.

Yeah right. But Grant Hill can get an injury at any game, then it is over.

I dont know, but because of Grant Hill, Im a fan of the Magic. I dont know how anyone could root against Grant Hill. He just seems like a great all around guy.

So can you,. With his chronic ankle problems and the fast pace of his game, it's only logical to think it's much more likely Hill will be out way before Yao does. Once the ankle is broken, it'll NEVER be the same. Just look at Shaq, and his problem was only the toe.

I've actually been thinking about this alot. Good thing we were able to lock him up to a 6 yr deal because for every 10 point performance Yao cashes in, he must be thinking "I forced a trade to come play with this guy?"

tmac had a long list of suitors for his talents this off-season. but he was adamant in that he would only sign a long term extension with the houston rockets, and yao. youre telling me yao would rather play with grant hill rather than jermaine o neal or nowitski?

Grant Hill is still an awesome player, and I really hope he does well. I don't know, but I feel like some people here are kinda hoping he gets hurt again. Why is that? Is it because the Magic are doing better than the Rox or is it because of Steve Francis?

That's why Yao is jumping slow and just in case you didn't notice, not slashing to the basket either, not that he could. Was Yao out for several seasons and received major surgeries because of that ? Every player sustains injuries in this league. My point was that Hill is much more prone to RE-injury than Yao, simpily based on his past problems and style of play.

And so is Yao, because big men are notorious for having foot problems.

It's a pointless argument and one that shouldn't even be made. Enjoy what the man is doing, for crying out loud, and quit the juvenile pessimism. As another said, it's almost as if some of you WANT him to go down.

I guess in dealing with trading players, you won't pay attention to their health at all, casue everyone just as likely to get injuries.
