    I can't find an article about it right now, but I've heard that professional athletes are big into soap operas.

    Of the people that I know, only the women I worked with when I worked retail, but they watched it on rotation. Who ever was off or on break would watch, and catch everyone else up with what was going on.

    They've been doing this for decades. I used to laugh when I was a kid and listened to old time radio and they'd insert a random "product placement" or ad into the script of the show. It seemed so stupid. Now it's like they're bringing them back.

    Lately Microsoft has been trying to pimp Bing and Windows Phone 7 in a mess of shows :

    I noticed Microsoft and Bing in Hawaii 5-0 and Castle recently.

    I'm really pleased about the Soap Operas getting into it. Afterall, those actors are basically on the same level as commercial actors.

    Oops...didn't mean to offend commercial actors out there.
