The Rockets uniform is hideous, mainly due to the bright red color, but the designs are almost as distasteful. So far, I like the Rockets uniform for 1995-2003 the best, yet there were some ugly and distracting design elements (The color were the best. The stripes would be fine IF THEY WERE PINSTRIPES; they were too thick and too few (thus overwhelming); also, some stripes shouldn't be fading away): 1) The contrasting strips on the sides of the shorts should be thinner. The *wide* contrasting strips were very dominating and distracting. 2) The sides of the jersey should have the matching contrasting strips. Not having them doesn't help with the flow of the design. 3) The contrasting *wide* wasteband must go (the home shorts); In fact, skip the contrasting band all together. Having it "cuts off" the whole ensemble in half, which stops the design flow, makes the viewer's eye linger there (distracting), and makes the player look shorter. 4) I prefer the round neck. The general V neck points away from the player's face and gives the player less cloth to wipe off his sweat.
I'm sorry man, you obviously worked hard on this, but it's a topic that has literally been beaten to death around here. Trust me, we want change as much as you do!

I love the distinctive uniforms worn by the Rockets. Well designed by an experienced and renown designer. Leave our uniforms alone, develop our young team and lets play basketball. Y
Why do yall complain so much about the jerseys I honestly don't think they are that bad sure it can use some improvement but its not that bad look at the Hornets, Magic, Nuggets (old one), Rockets (Francis Era) jerseys and think we have are still bad?
Sorry for redundancy. I saw the thread earlier today (about a ranking - which was too generous) but it disappeared from the front page and I couldn't find it anymore. But I had no idea the topic had been discussed ad nauseam. I can understand you guys' sarcasm, lol. It's just that I will be watching every Rockets game this year and the current uniform is really an eye sore to me; it apparently affects a lot of people psychologically. The players look uncool wearing them (haha). And I will not buy any Rockets jerseys until they change the uniform.
OMG ENOUGH OF THE STUPID UNIFORMS! They are not that bad and I dont think they going away soon. Stop complaining and just watch basketball not the uniforms...
So you'll be watching everygame this year? What happened did you finally get cable? And if the jerseys are affecting people psycologically I think we can sue somebody for that.
