Hide and Seek Movie review

Part of me was curious to see this, but then they put out a commercial that gave away the ending.

 

ya no kidding. i have no desire to see it anymore

 

Although I haven't seen the movie yet, I think I've had it figured out since the first preview I saw, even before the new trailer.

 

Save me $8 and tell me what happens at the end.

It turns out the imaginary friend who is killing people is De Niro.

 

I started to figure that out when i saw the new commercial for it...they really did a bad job by making that new version of the commercial....what was the point of that?

 

Yeah, I mean the only reason people would want to watch that movie is to find out who the hell Charlie is. I mean, with these schizo killer movies, the not knowing that the killer is an alternate personality of a maine character is the most important part. I mean, once you've seen Secret Window, there's no point in seeing it again. If you already know that the killer in Dressed to Kill is Michael Caine in drag, there's no point in watching it (unless you want to see the chick from Robocop naked).

 

i mean so it really is de niro and they just completely gave it away in these new commercials? i thought maybe those were trying to lead us in that direction only to fool people again.



and how was The Ring 2 trailer. was it just the tv in a room sort of turning on to static with a few images shown really quick or was there more to it this time. The Ring=scariest movie of all time. we'll see what they do with The Ring 2.

 

Yeah, well if you lived up there with all those lobster fishermen and LL Bean employees, you'd have a alternate personality who kills, too.

 

You can see the trailer on the net, at the quicktime trailers site. I never saw the teaser, but the trailer I saw has lots of stuff. Also, this movie is directed by the Japanese guy who directed the original Ring and it's an original story, not a remake. That's pretty cool.
