Can someone recommend a place that does this at a good price and does a good job? Preferably inside the loop and up to about 2 miles outside of it. I've got a couple of tapes from a vacation a long time ago i'd like to convert. Thanks, in advance.
Good luck with this my friend. Only way to do this, is to play the tapes through your video camera, which is plugged into a dvd recorder. I have the setup here at home but I don't have a working 8mm camcorder to play the damn tapes. Would you want to do a collateral swap and I'd burn your movies to DVD for free?
