Ridiculous! In a game like this, with TV time outs. T-Mac left the game early in the first quarter to go back to the locker room and get his knee re-taped, complaining that the tape was too tight. The Jazz immediately went on an 8-0 run before T-Mac would return to stop the bleeding. As the game went on each time T-Mac would sit, the Jazz would go on a run. I just cant believe with everything on the line T-Mac took time to go back to the locker room and get his knee re-taped.
Another McGrady hate thread? OH MY GOD! It's like...so original and stuff. Anyone that doesn't appreciate the gutsy effort by these guys coming from behind by more than double-digits and making a f'king game out of it instead of giving up should be sent to the torture chamber...I am sick of you bandwagoning idiots. Go to hell, for once...
Its not a hate thread, but geeze its not like nothing is on the line here. Keith cant tape a knee on the bench?
On him again? What about the other players? Who has been missing open shots. The j*zz could've easily made some free throws and we could've lost
hey tmac, take a pay cut or your not going out the 1st round anytime soon with your lack of killer instinct and decline FT shooting any time soon.
it's T-macs fault that the trainer of the team made him go to the locker room b/c T-mac knows so much more about how best to deal with ailments.
Another T-Mac hating thread! Love it! I heard T-Mac is the leading cause of cancer among women 18-49.
i dont care who made the decision, im just saying that was kind of ridiculous in a playoff game down 2-1. and it hurt us in the longrun. i can understand going to the locker room w a serious injury like Carl did, BUT TAPE!?!?!?
Yeah, unfortunately, Tracy tipped the ball away from Landry. I can't get upset with Tracy's effort on the rebound but in that instance, it ended up getting in the way. Landry had his man blocked out and went for the rebound only to have it tipped away from his grasp and into Okur's fumbling hands. Too bad. The bigger problem is that we looked like dirt offensively in the first half and didn't improve by much in he second half (especially the fourth quarter). We simply don't have enough dynamic offensive players with Yao out. The offseason should see the Rockets working to bring in another scorer (either off the bench or what have you) because the current group just isn't enough. Houston's gone 12 straight playoff games without scoring 100 points.
Agreed. I'm proud of our boys. They played their hearts out. Yao is out and McGrady, Battier and Alston were all playing hurt and yet they still managed to make it a game. I've got a feeling this team will be unstoppable next year. Scola will be fully adjusted to the NBA. Landry will be that much more developed. Brooks will be a season stronger. And I have no doubt Daryl Morey will add a strong piece or two. I won't even be surprised to see him package our expirings and bring us back a star from a team like the Nets - who are trying to get in a position to sign Lebron James by 2010.
