If you really said that Dallas has a better organization than Houston, then take your whiney, self-absorbed, pampered NBA butt and stay north of the 610 loop. If you don't want us, then we certainly don't want you. And, incidently, prepare to have your butt kicked when we see you on the court!
Thanks for the insight 3-a-charm. You have to admit that it's partly true. Cuban and Nelson have done a tremendous job with that team and they leave no stone unturned. They have maybe the best young talent in the league, have an insane and insanely wealthy owner, and play very well as a unit. As for the Rockets, the management and the owner are solid but will Houston have the money and willingness to sign Rashard to a mega deal in 3 years? This group of Rocket players have not proven they can win. They look great on paper but always seem to fall short. That should change VERY soon but Rashard has to weigh his options. IMHO Houston and Dallas will have one hell of a rivalry for years to come. Both of this teams have a very bright future. Rashard just needs to decide which is the better fit for him. Don't knock him weighing his options.
The Mavericks are a better team right now but we will win a championship before they will. I believe Dallas is a very good organization but we are too. We deliver on our promises. We paid Barkley when we didn't have to. The same is is true for Anderson, Taylor, Maloney, Norris, Drexler.... We will pay. We have that reputation.
3 a charm- I understand your opinion but what Shard said is really not that big of a deal. I have told my girlfriend on many occasions that another female is not very attractive when I know that is not true. I did not say that to disparage the other female. I said it because that is how the game is played.
bbmumu,LOL! And you said it because you're smart enough to know what's better for your mental AND PHYSICAL health and well being. You just have to sound convincing, otherwise you end up worse. It's sounds like you're getting ready for marriage where you quickly learn it's better to give in and have peace of mind than to insist that,"that's right,I'm the man" on every little issue.
GregM, you should see those games the rockets played Dallas last year before you pronounce they are a better team than us. In addition since then, we are further improved and they will return essentially the same team. The coach himself said they do not have a SF. Do you know how many we have that they would want? If we are spared of injuries we will challenge for the division just like Dallas. That was pure crap that Lewis said and you should never allow yourself to even try and defend crap. There are countless players who die to be in Houston including Lewis who is at Westside all the time. We have a new arena coming. There is absolutely nothing about this organization that Lewis can possibly have a problem with except that they passed on him.
Seldom is the question asked: Guns kill squirrels than REDRUM to fools across the nation? OK, I just can't stand it anymore.. I gotta ask.. What the hell does that mean???
yeah we'll be kickin the leagues ass without you!!!!! but if you ever wanna come here you are more than welocome
The Mavs were 57-25 and Houston was 28-54. If that's not enough to prove who was the better team last year than nothing is. Yes we have and I'm so excited for the season to start. This team is embarking on a new era. I just pray that the Rockets can play as a unit like the Mavs. As far as the Mavs staying put, a full season of Nick and Lafrentz only improves them. The addition of Rashard means more for them than it does for us. Sure they'd want Nachbar but if you seroiusly think they'd have anyhting to do with Rice or Morris, than you need to remove your rose colored glasses. I hope your right. It all depends if these guys can play as a team. The biggest qustion for me is if Steve can become a leader, getting everybody involved. If Franics can take his game to that level than the sky's the limit with this franchise. Playing time and money are just a couple of things Lewis would have a problem with. The Rockets are a hell of an organization but I feel you're undervalueing a lot of other franchises. Houston is not the end all and be all of the world.
